What do you get when you mix a made-up character, 1920s Dick Tracy-style artwork, and real-money casino games? You get Joreels, which is what I am here to review today. I have to admit that I am not the biggest fan of cartoonish casino design. I love the active display that shows which games are the hottest and coldest in the casino over the last 24 hours. Not only does it list these games, but it also tells you what the payout percentage is for each game. We Need More VIP Info!

An online gaming site will sometimes announce that it has a VIP program, but then give almost no details about what it actually entails. This is my main complaint about such sites. From the first part of my review, you may have gathered that Joreels Casino's game selection is not my favorite aspect of the site. I can overlook that for the purposes of this review, however, as there are probably many readers out there who are looking for sites with the best slots games and don't care about any of these other categories.

While this all seems good, when you investigate the terms and conditions, you discover some more specifics. For starters, if you are from one of these corners of the world, you will not receive any bonus offers: Poland, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Hungary and Romania. The next thing you need to know is that your welcome bonus expires 7 days after your deposit. The wagering requirement associated with this bonus is 35 times the deposit plus bonus, which as far as we know is one of the highest wagering requirements in any online casino.

So even though there is a welcome bonus, I can't say with any confidence that anyone will convert at the higher amounts.

The site has a section dedicated to Joreel's VIP program. When I saw the link on the left menu of the home page, I was excited to click on it and find out what I needed to do to improve my status at this casino. However, when I opened the page, I found a very general overview of what a VIP program is, with no specifics on what the Virtual Reel experience might include or how to get there.

Why do casinos insist on deceiving players in this way? If they are trying to hide something about the program, it makes me wonder about the existence of any truly beneficial aspects of the program.

It is a proven fact that the program consists of 5 levels: Made Man, Underboss, Boss, Capo, and The Don. Everything else we're left to guess.

Customer Service

If you need to contact the casino for any reason (for example, to find out about the VIP program), you need to go to the home page and click on the button labeled "Support". This will take you to the FAQ section, where many of the standard customer service questions are answered. If you want to speak to someone directly, you will have to look elsewhere, as the site does not offer this facility. Only players who have an account and are logged into the site have access to this.

This is nonsense: an arcade should be able to handle requests from potential buyers with the same exuberance it shows to customers who pay to enter. Joreels better fix this problem quickly, because it is surprising. Usually the other brands under the MT SecureTrade umbrella show a much higher level of customer support. However, for those players who have actually registered with Joreels, the support options are a bit better. They can either chat live or email their problems to [email protected] in real time.

Would I Play at Joreels Casino?

When it comes to real money gambling, I can't recommend Joreels highly enough. They offer an eclectic mix of online slots, many of which boast stunning graphics and some truly great progressive jackpots. My recommendation is a bit spotty because the rest of the games they offer - like blackjack, roulette and other table games - don't hit the same high notes as their online slots.

Although the casino has numerous ongoing promotions for players, the welcome bonus is underwhelming and the lack of transparency in the VIP program is, in my opinion, an unfortunate blemish on the casino's reputation.
