Joreels Casino Review

This is never a problem inside a cartoonish slot machine, where I will settle for whatever style is in there, but I much prefer a cleaner, simpler design when I am browsing a real internet casino.

That said, I'm as excited as ever to bring you another review of a fresh new brand! In this case, the brand is Joreels, a new online casino operating out of Curacao. I've read a handful of player opinions and reviews of Joreels, both good and bad, since its launch in mid-2019. These opinions, combined with my own experiences with the casino (both good and bad), will form the basis of this review.

Joreels Casino is a relatively new brand from a company that is certainly not new to the online casino scene. MT SecureTrade is based in Malta and knows a thing or two about global iGaming. They have been pushing the Joreels brand into the world of online gambling, albeit without much fanfare, since the brand's launch in 2017. The company's seriatim with better-known sister casinos - Rizk, Dunder, Guts - sometimes makes you wonder what the folks at MT SecureTrade are doing. More on that later. For now, let's take a look at Joreels Casino itself.

One of the first things you notice is the variety of look and feel of the brands that MT SecureTrade operates. I like this, as it is often the case that operators do not pay attention to such details, resulting in "cookie cutter" sites. But what about Joreels Casino? As I go on in this review, you will see that there are a number of things that make Joreels a different experience from the other brands operated by MT SecureTrade. You'll also see that some aspects have more in common (with other MT SecureTrade brands) than you might think.

The site is licensed by both the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. This makes it safe and secure for players. You see, the casino must keep player funds in a separate, audited account. The regulators make sure that the casino follows this rule. This is a nice extra layer of security.

Who Can Play at Joreels Casino?

Along with security, the gaming licenses issued by Malta and the UK come with a long list of countries where real money play is not permitted. Many of the brands under MT SecureTrade make the cut, which serves to protect the site's management from being accused of running an illegal online casino in countries where such a thing is against the law in the event of a legal dispute. Always check the list of permitted countries.

The list of restricted countries at Joreels Casino includes the following.

• Afghanistan;
• Algeria;
• Samoa;
• American;
• Belgium;
• Bulgaria;
• Cyprus;

• Denmark;
• Ecuador;
• Estonia;
• Ethiopia;
• France;
• Greece;
• Hong Kong;

• India;
• Indonesia,
• Iran;
• Iraq;
• Ireland;
• Israel;

• Pakistan;

• Poland;
• Portugal;
• Puerto Rico;
• Romania;
• Singapore;
• Slovenia;
• Somalia;

• South Africa;
• South Korea;
• Spain;
• Syrian Arab Republic;
• Turkey
• U.S. Virgin Islands
• U.S.A;

Software Suppliers

MT SecureTrade has a Gaming Innovation Group back-end platform that allows them to easily and efficiently integrate multiple software providers into a single front-end offering. For Joreels, the group worked with some of the best suppliers in the industry, including

• Microgaming;
• Yggdrasill;
• Genii;

The lobby holds a mix of large and small developers and very different styles of slot development, covered in the games section below.

The Good Stuff

Hot and Cold Stats

I love the active display that shows which games are the hottest and coldest in the casino over the last 24 hours. Not only does it list these games, but it also tells you what the payout percentage is for each game. Many players I know swear by these lists and have strategies for playing the slots based on how much or how little they have paid out.

Jackpots Galore

The Bad Stuff

Oh Come On, Where Are the Table Games?

We Need More VIP Info!

An online gaming site will sometimes announce that it has a VIP program, but then give almost no details about what it actually entails. This is my main complaint about such sites. If you're going to entice players with the offer of special treatment because they've achieved a certain status, at least have the decency to outline how to achieve that status and what the benefits are. Otherwise, it's just a scam.

Game Selection

The game selection is the weakest part of Joreels Casino. I can overlook that for the purposes of this review, however, as there are probably many readers out there who are looking for sites with the best slots games and don't care about any of these other categories.

You can play the games at Joreels without downloading them. In other words, you do not need a casino client on your phone to play its games. This also means that most of the Joreels games are mobile friendly and can be accessed through the browser on your device.

I am going to take a look at the different game categories in more detail now.

Table Games

I have reviewed dozens of casinos that use Microgaming and Betsoft, and I know what games these providers have available. So I was even more disheartened to find only a handful of these titles in the Joreels lobby. I thought I would click around and see if some of them were just mislabeled, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Here are the games you will find in the table games section of Joreels Casino.

• Superwheel;
• Roulette, European;

• Blackjack
• Series: Blackjack Gold;

• Roulette for more than one wheel
• Pai Gow Poker;

Video Poker

All right, even though I had to end my table game session earlier than planned due to the lack of variety in the games, I know I can make up for it by playing some Video Poker. This is one of my favorite games in any casino because you take the speed of a slot machine and add in the skill of the basic strategy of draw poker. So, let me just click on the Video Poker tab.... Wait, where is the Video Poker tab? Other categories have a tab, and yet I can't figure out where Video Poker would go if it didn't have its own section.

I was lucky enough to find some video poker by searching for it in the search box in the casino lobby. This is a bit ridiculous, though - the site should have these games in one of the tabs, even if it's not labeled correctly.

The variants take searching to find, there are few of them, and none offer multi-hand play. Personally, I am not satisfied with this section.

Here are the games you will find when you search for Video Poker.

• Joker Poker:
• Double Down Bonus Poker;

• Tens or Better;
• Wild Deuces;

• Aces and Faces;
• The entire American;

Slots

I had to count up to at least 500 slots titles in the lobby to even begin to appreciate how much great casino content is packed into Joreels. That's a lot, and it means that swapping in any game for your frankly limitless choice of style or theme is inevitable. I had to list a few - so I just picked a few from my perusal of the content list - that reveal a few things about the casino experience you'll find here, and I'll start with these.

• 1429 Uncharted Seas
• Ariana,
• At the Copa;
• Avians!
• Birds on a Wire;
• Black Knight II;
• Blazin' Hot 7s;

• Cash Clams;
• Cash Coaster;
• DaVinci Diamonds;
• Dragon's Luck;
• Football Champions Cup;
• Football Superstar;
• Game of Thrones 15-Line;

• Girls with Guns
• Hula Hula Nights
• Jewel of the Arts
• KISS® Shout it out Loud!
• Larry's Lobster Mania
• MegaJackpots Cleopatra
• Golden Goddess;

• Isle O' Plenty;
• Siberian Storm;
• Mega Moolah;
• Mega Moolah Isis;
• Spectra;
• The SlotFather, Part II;
• Hyperion, Sun Titan;
• Titans of the Sun Theia;

• Wish Upon a Jackpot;
• Witch's Pickings;
• Gem Sorcerer;
• Wolf Cub;

Live Casino

With Evolution Gaming on board to provide live dealer action, players at Joreels can be sure they are getting the best in quality. There is something so electric and engaging about playing a game with a real person just a few feet away from you in a casino in real time. Seeing a live dealer on the other end of the camera when I click on a game makes me feel like I'm not out here all alone. Undeniably, the speed of play is much closer to that of land-based play. For those unfamiliar with live dealer games, there's a lot to get excited about. When compared to other types of online casino games, live dealer games stand out because they offer players a completely different gaming experience. Here are a few reasons why you should try live dealer games. The games listed below are your choices.

• Roulette;
• Double Ball Roulette;
• Roulette in an immersive gaming experience;

• Blackjack
• Baccarat;
• Ultimate Texas Hold'em is a variation of poker played against the dealer with no other players at the table. It combines the concept of poker with a blackjack-style game where the player bets against the dealer. Players first place one of three mandatory bets (ante, optional play, or four times the ante). After being dealt two hole cards, the player makes another bet or checks. If the player checks, he must make the bet at any time before the showdown. The dealer then reveals the three community cards. The player can either check again or bet $1,000. If the player has not folded by then, the showdown takes place after both the player and the dealer show their hole cards;

• Casino Hold'em is a variation of poker in which the player competes against the house. The game is typically played with two hole cards and five community cards to make the best five-card poker hand. Betting occurs in stages, with most of the action taking place after the first three community cards are dealt, known as the flop
• Dream Catcher
• American Roulette consists of a wheel with 38 numbered slots. Each slot is either red or black, except for two green slots: 0 and 00. The wheel is spun and a small ball is thrown in the opposite direction. The ball bounces around the wheel and eventually falls into one of the slots. Players place bets on the outcome before the wheel is spun. There are several different types of bets, including

Promotions

When there are countless games to choose from, you may not even care what the casino has to offer from a promotional standpoint. However, smart players know that taking advantage of every potential bonus that is offered can often make the difference between a player being up or down in the long run. There are a number of offers on the promotions page of the Joreels site, so I thought I'd highlight a few of them here.

Welcome Bonus

To begin your actual cash journey at Joreels Casino, the platform gives you a worthless welcome bonus. I say worthless because I have seen bonuses in the past that offer much more than this one. However, even with the lack of value, this bonus crosses the non-existent line between the value of this bonus offer and cashing it out. Here are the not-so-great terms under which the bonus operates.

100% match bonus of $100 plus 50 free spins.

While this all seems good, when you investigate the terms and conditions, you discover some more specifics. For starters, if you are from one of these corners of the world, you will not receive any bonus offers: Poland, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Hungary and Romania. That's about half of the European Union and some pretty close partners.

The next thing you need to know is that your welcome bonus expires 7 days after your deposit. The wagering requirement associated with this bonus is 35 times the deposit plus bonus, which as far as we know is one of the highest wagering requirements in any online casino.

Roaring Races

This promotion has a great look and feel and is aimed at players who enjoy slots. It is a leaderboard promotion where players are rewarded for their loyalty and play, but really the promo seems to be perfectly in sync with the product as it promotes a prize pool of up to $1,000 in something called Megaspins. This promotion runs on a weekly basis and resets every week. There are obviously a number of rules that go along with both the promotion and the product, as well as a long list of bonuses.

You will earn more bonus points the more you
bet per spin:

Playing between 19:00 – 23.00 CET earns you 50% more points during these
specific hours

The real caveat here is that the maximum you can win with these Megaspins is $1,000. However, I like this promotion because it has a short duration but rewards the most dedicated players in a given week.

Live Dealer Reward Thursdays

This offer is simple but effective. It rebates 20% of the losses made by players in live dealer games on Thursdays. The maximum rebate was $50. If you were playing live dealer games and lost on a Thursday, you had a good chance of getting a good amount of cash the following weekend. What made this offer even better was that it was a cash rebate with no playthrough requirements.

Banking

MT SecureTrade has an advantage in negotiating payment processor rates due to the number of brands and the large volume they generate. Not spreading deposits across too many providers is another way to get the best rates. I am surprised that Bitcoin is not currently available at Joreels Casino, but I can only assume that it won't be long before it is added to the cashier options.

VIP Program

The site has a section dedicated to Joreel's VIP program. When I saw the link on the left menu of the home page, I was excited to click on it and find out what I needed to do to improve my status at this casino. The page gives a very general overview of what a VIP program is, with no specifics on what the Virtual Reel experience might include or how to get there.

Why do casinos insist on deceiving players in this way? If they are trying to hide something about the program, it makes me wonder about the existence of any truly beneficial aspects of the program.

It is a proven fact that the program consists of 5 levels: Made Man, Underboss, Boss, Capo, and The Don. Everything else we're left to guess.

Customer Service

If you need to contact the casino for any reason (for example, to find out about the VIP program), you need to go to the home page and click on the button labeled "Support". This will take you to the FAQ section, where many of the standard customer service questions are answered. If you want to speak to someone directly, you will have to look elsewhere, as the site does not offer this facility. Only players who have an account and are logged into the site have access to this.

This is nonsense: an arcade should be able to handle requests from potential buyers with the same exuberance it shows to customers who pay to enter. Joreels better fix this problem quickly, because it is surprising. Usually the other brands under the MT SecureTrade umbrella show a much higher level of customer support. However, for those players who have actually registered with Joreels, the support options are a bit better. They can either chat live or email their problems to their support address in real time.

Would I Play at Joreels Casino?

Although the casino has numerous ongoing promotions for players, the welcome bonus is underwhelming and the lack of transparency in the VIP program is an unfortunate blemish on the casino's reputation.

It really comes down to this: if you are a slots player who enjoys free spin promotions and has no need to contact the casino directly, then I would heartily recommend Joreels Casino. If you are more of a table games player and have potential plans to enter a smoke-filled gambling den, or if you just want to earn a ton of bonus dollars and VIP status before you start playing, then you might want to use Google to find some of Joreels Casino's competitors before you make any deposits.
