It’s a catch 22 whenever a new gambling site launches.
On one hand, it’s difficult to trust new companies. So many launch, ambitious and ready to take over the gambling industry – to be the next hot new thing.
Then they crash months or a year later. And often while still owing their customers money.
This is the most common scenario we see.
On the other hand, a new gambling site will launch and will blow everyone away. They have fun games, unique promotions, tons of payment options – and get this – they even pay their customers.
(It’s sort of sad we’re excited or blown away when this happens. But that should tell you a lot about the offshore gambling industry.)
So in which hand does RealBet.eu sit? Our goal today is to answer that question.
They launched in early 2015 to positive reviews. However, over the last few months we’ve seen serious complaints we can’t ignore. And while we can’t say for sure, it’s possible these complaints are the result of a partnership RealBet.eu has with FutureBet – a known rogue company.
Is that enough to derail RealBet.eu, or will they find their footing and be around for years to come? And, either way, should you give them your business?
We share our opinions – and much more – in our review below.
You’ll find 2 options at RealBet.eu – a sportsbook and casino. Right now they don’t offer online poker or bingo.
That’s okay, though.
Both poker and bingo require traffic – a large player base – in order for games to run. And if online gambling history has shown us anything, it’s that it’s hard for new sites to build that player base.
However, we still want to figure out if it’s worth your time to join only for RealBet’s sportsbook or casino. Especially when their direct competitors include US-heavyweights like Bovada, 5Dimes and Ignition Casino – amongst many others.
So let’s figure that out now. We’ll start with their sportsbook.
The sportsbook is basic at first glance. But looks aren’t everything – RealBet.eu offers decent coverage of the most popular North American markets with a few international markets mixed in.
We have some notes about their markets, bet options and wager limits. But let’s start with the markets and submarkets you’ll find when you visit their site.
One thing we noticed is their list of markets change. For example, we reviewed their site in early 2016. During that time, they had the Olympics listed.
But now they don’t. In its place are entertainment props, which weren’t listed the last time we reviewed them.
This leads us to believe their list is always changing. Thus, you shouldn’t judge them by what you see or don’t see. If there’s something you want to bet on, but don’t see it, it’d make sense to dig deeper or send them an email for verification before dismissing them.
As for limits, this varies based on what markets you want to bet on and the types of bets you want to make. The max is $1,000 across the board.
Here’s a few examples, though, so you have an idea of their limits and how much it can vary:
These limits pale in comparison to sportsbooks like Bookmaker, or even 5Dimes. This leads us to believe RealBet.eu is better, or at least will be more attractive to recreational bettors than pros.
Though, smaller limits don’t always mean small winnings. It is possible to win big here. So big, in fact, that RealBet.eu imposes a $25,000 limit on weekly winnings, excluding parlay challenges and casino game jackpots.
Just something to keep in mind if you like to bet on longshots.
As for their site, it’s simple to use. Everything from finding sports and events to bet on to finding specific bets to make and placing them is intuitive – even if you’re not a regular sports bettor.
That goes for mobile betting, too.
They don’t have a mobile app. But they DO have a mobile website, which is compatible with Apple, Android and Blackberry devices. No app or download’s needed.
Their mobile site is dead simple to use, too. Everything’s as simple as pointing and tapping and choosing your bets. Once you’re done you’ll see an icon at the top right that says ‘Bet’ and the number of bets you have. Tap that and you’ll add how much you want to bet. Then confirm your wagers.
That’s all there is to it.
While we’d like to see higher limits, a larger selection of markets or even better pricing, this book’s more or less setup for recreational bettors. And we think most recreational bettors will be satisfied with what they find here.
More experienced and/or professional bettors will probably want to check out Bookmaker, 5Dimes and Bovada – in that order.
Now let’s look at RealBet’s casino.
Their games come from two software companies. One’s BetSoft, who’s known most for their 3D games. The second’s Ace Gaming, RealBet’s proprietary software.
These are the games you can play:
Blackjack
It’s great to see the option to play multiple hands simultaneously, to make side bets or to choose what rules you want to play by.
That said, we’d trade most of that for a larger and more diverse selection of blackjack variations.
Video Poker
Each of the following video poker games give you the option to play 1-50 hands simultaneously.
They only cover the basics here. It’d be nice to have more variations to choose from.
Table Games
A few of these, like Caribbean poker, triple card poker and lucky 8s pai gow poker have progressive jackpots or other side bets you can win.
Slots
The following titles are from their proprietary software, Ace Gaming.
These games – in our opinion – pale in comparison to the look, feel and overall entertainment you get from playing the 3D slots from BetSoft.
The BetSoft slot titles include:
These are fun to just watch. But we recommend playing them, too. We suggest trying Madder Scientist, Tycoons or The Slotfather first.
Video Keno
Mobile Casino
They have mobile games you can play, too. Your options include:
Their mobile selection’s a little bit bigger than we remember them having the last time we reviewed them. Though it’d be nice to see a more diverse selection of table games other than just blackjack and baccarat.
They run daily blackjack and slots tournaments, too. You can play both real money and free money tourneys. All the real money tournaments have a $10 entry fee. And even their free money options (available on Tuesday and Wednesday nights) offer real money prizes.
Their casino’s decent.
They have an okay selection of games. BetSoft clearly steals the show here with their high quality and super entertaining 3D slots.
The bottom line – if you want to play high quality (3D) slots and/or are a fan of table games and/or basic blackjack and video poker variations, then RealBet.eu has you covered.
But if you want access to hundreds of games, including more than a dozen video poker or blackjack variations, then RealBet.eu isn’t the place for you.
Most, if not all offers here will apply to both sports bettors and casino players. Here are the current offers available to you at RealBet.
Welcome Bonus – Make your first deposit and get a 100% match offer up to $500. RealBet.eu bumped this up from the last time we reviewed them – it used to be $300. This is great to see, because while $300 is okay for sportsbooks, it’s not even competitive for online casinos. So this is an improvement.
Reload Bonus – This is a 20% match bonus up to $200. Deposit $1,000 to get the full bonus.
Refer-a-Friend – Send friends and family to RealBet. You’ll get a 25% match bonus (which they based on your friend’s deposit) up to $300.
Parlay Challenge – Play their challenge and get paid an additional 20% when you back 5 teams.
That’s it for their core offers.
One thing we don’t care for is how hard it is to figure out what their rollover terms are. They don’t post them with their offers (like they should). But we did some digging and managed to find the info.
The rollover for their offers is 5x for the sportsbook. The play through for the casino is 25x. Both are great – and very competitive – when compared to other sportsbooks and casinos.
However, one important thing to note – not all casino games will apply to the bonus offers. But RealBet doesn’t make it clear what these games are.
Cash Back Program
RealBet.eu also has a cash back program. They give you points for every $1 you wager. You’ll get 6 points for games like slots and keno, and only 1 point for games like blackjack.
What are the points for? You can use them for real cash or free money. Here’s the difference between the two.
Real cash is money you can cash out, whereas free money is more or less like a deposit bonus. Free money never expires and is used only to play games (which, if you win, you can cash out the winnings).
You’ll get more money if you take the free money option. You get a higher point to reward conversion rate. Our guess is it’s to incentivize you to keep your money on the site.
It’ll cost you 15,000 to 250,000 points for $5 to $150 real cash. However, it’ll cost you half that (7,500 to 125,000) to get the same amount in free money.
This is where RealBet.eu REALLY drops the ball.
They have 2 banking options. You can use Visa or MasterCard to make a deposit. The limits are $50 to $1,000 per deposit.
It’s absolutely ridiculous they have only two banking options. This is something they ought to fix ASAP. Especially considering they’re a US-friendly site. And, if they added more options, it’s possible they wouldn’t have the issues they’re having on the withdrawal end of things.
You can use a check to cash out your winnings. The good news is you get one free cash out per month. All other cash outs will cost you $50, which is a bit higher compared to other sites.
One piece of bad news is their processing times are 15-20 days. This doesn’t include transit times. So you could wait upwards of 4-6 weeks for payment. This is ridiculous. Even more so coming from a book with so few options to begin with.
One other thing – they have a max cash out of $2,000 per week. This includes big wins, like progressive jackpots. If you hit a big winner, you’ll be paid $2,000 per week until you’ve been paid in full.
You can contact RealBet using one of these options:
They also have a solid help section for general questions.
Delayed payments are their biggest problem. A quick Google search brings up several results of players complaining about waiting for months for their payment. Most are still waiting.
Here are some examples:
Why are they so behind on payments?
Bill Dozer (part of SBR) thinks RealBet.eu is hosted by FutureBet. FutureBet is a MASSIVE scam who loans their resources to new, unsuspecting gambling companies. They also handle the payment processing for them. Then when they’ve collected enough money, they run, leaving both the new operator and their customers high and dry.
However, Bill says they’re not sure if RealBet.eu is connected to FutureBet (in a bad way, like an inside company), or if only using their resources and are an outlier ‘wildcard’ like TopBet. In other words, he has no idea if RealBet.eu will buck the trend and end up a legitimate site who just happens to be using a shoddy company’s software.
Later in the thread, a SBR Forum rep says they spoke with a RealBet manager. He claims RealBet says they use FutureBet software, however, they handle payment processing themselves. They also admitted to having payment issues because of 3rd party processors, and that players should be caught up in 3-4 weeks.
That was at the start of July, which means they should’ve been caught up at the start of August. But here we are, and it looks like players are still owed money.
Is it because of FutureBet? Is RealBet.eu trying to rip you off, or did they just temporarily lose their footing.
We have no idea, but we recommend being cautious if you decide to ignore our recommendation below.
So, should you sign up to RealBet.eu?
Are you kidding?
Right now there’s no way we could recommend RealBet.eu in good conscience. It sounds like they have a 4-6 week posted delay on cash outs, and a more realistic 8-16+ week delay.
That’s too long. You can play at a more trustworthy sportsbook or casino, who also happens to have far better software, a more diverse selection of markets and games, and more banking options.
Plus, the fact they’re using FutureBet’s software is hard to ignore.
But what about the future? What if RealBet.eu turns things around?
It’s hard to say for sure.
If it wasn’t for their payment problems, we think they’d be an okay sportsbook and casino. They’re not on par with US offshore industry leaders, though. Not even close. But they still might be worth a look if you want to try something new or want a change of pace.
For now, though, we recommend you avoid RealBet.eu until they start paying their players again. Choose one of our other recommended sportsbooks or casinos instead, such as Bovada or BetOnline.
The choice is yours. You’ve been warned.

I’ve been owed $1200 for a year and a half. Their customer service phone number is disconnected. They are a scam, why are you even discussing the pros of this site? You know damn well they don’t pay out.
They don't pay out. 100% Scam site. It's been 2 years since I've requested a payout. They simple. Just. Don't. Pay out.
I requested a withdrawal of just less than $800 in April of '17 which I have still not received. I'm assuming this money is gone forever. Stay away, you're better of burning the cash for entertainment value.
